Handmade Punjabi juttis, designed in Delhi
A Punjabi jutti is a closed-toe, slip-on Indian shoe — traditionally leather, flat, and finished with handwork. Ours are designed in-house and made for how people actually dress: kurtas and jeans during the week, lehengas and suits at a wedding.
The catalogue is grouped by craft. Embroidered juttis carry silk thread, sequins and beads. Mukaish juttis use tiny flattened metal dots (badla work) that stay light on the foot. Tilla juttis are gold-thread pairs for ceremonies. Every style uses genuine leather and a cushioned insole. Sizes run UK 3 to UK 8, from Rs 1,550, with delivery across India.
If you are buying a jutti online for the first time, start with your usual UK size and read the size note on the product page. Narrow feet often go a size down; broad feet should stay with the size they wear in shoes. We are a physical shop in Lajpat Nagar-2, New Delhi, with a 4.9 Google rating from customers who have worn the pairs.

Common questions
Where can I buy handmade juttis online in India?
You can buy handmade juttis online from Weaving Threads. Every pair is designed in-house in Delhi, finished by artisans on genuine leather, and shipped across India. Prices start at Rs 1,550. This page is the full catalogue; embroidered, mukaish and tilla crafts also have their own collections.
What kinds of juttis do you make?
Three live crafts: hand embroidered juttis (thread, sequin, bead), mukaish juttis (metallic dotted badla work), and tilla juttis (gold-thread work for weddings). All are leather slip-ons with a cushioned insole, sized UK 3 to UK 8.
Are Weaving Threads juttis genuine leather?
Yes. The uppers and the comfort base are genuine leather with a cushioned insole. We do not use printed faux uppers in place of handwork. Country of origin and manufacturer details are on every product page.
Do you ship juttis across India?
Yes. Orders are processed in 1–3 business days. Delivery within India is typically 4–6 business days after dispatch, depending on pincode. A flat delivery fee of Rs 120 applies unless a free-shipping offer is running.
How do I choose a jutti size online?
Order your exact UK foot size. If your feet are narrow at the front, go one size down. If they are broad, keep the size you wear in shoes or slippers. A size chart is on each product page, and size exchanges can be requested within 7 days of delivery, subject to stock.
