CALYRA - Embroidered Jutti

CALYRA is a pastel pink Punjabi jutti covered in hand-set beadwork - candy-stripe sequins, colourful zigzags and gold bugle beads that make every step feel like a celebration.

The toe opens with vertical stripes of pink, turquoise, yellow and white sequins, followed by chevron bands in magenta, turquoise and green outlined with gold bugle beads and tiny pearl dots. The heel repeats the pastel stripes, so the pair looks finished from every angle. A soft tan leather lining, cushioned footbed and hand-stitched leather sole complete the pair.

Made for mehendi, haldi, sangeet and daytime festive functions, and bright enough to lift a plain kurta on casual days. Because the palette mixes pastels with brights, one pair styles with many outfits.

Pairs well with: White and ivory kurta sets, pastel pink or mint lehengas, yellow haldi outfits, and denim with a short kurti for an indo-western look.

Care

Wear-in tip: New juttis fit snug - wear them at home for an hour or two so the leather softens to your foot
Do not wash or wet; water dulls sequins and loosens beadwork
Dab dust off gently with a soft, dry cloth - never rub across the bead rows
Let mehendi dry completely before slipping them on, and keep perfume away from the beads
If a bead thread comes loose, trim it neatly - do not pull
Store each shoe in its own cloth pouch so the beads do not rub against each other
