CHAANDI RAAZ - Embroidered Jutti

CHAANDI RAAZ is a luminous silver-white Punjabi jutti worked in dense mirror embroidery - a sparkling pair that still reads sophisticated and traditional.

Mirrors in diamond and hexagon cuts cover the upper, each one caught in a loop of ivory thread in the traditional sheesha technique. Bands of silver bugle beads run between the rows in a fine chevron, and the heel is worked to match. A soft tan leather lining and hand-stitched leather sole complete the pair.

Suited to weddings, receptions and evening functions where silver-and-white footwear lifts a pastel or ivory outfit. The neutral palette makes it easy to re-wear across several functions in one wedding season.

Pairs well with: Ivory and silver lehengas, white or grey sarees, pastel anarkalis, and mirror-work sharara sets.

Care

Wear-in tip: New juttis fit snug - wear them at home for an hour or two so the leather softens to your foot
Do not wash or wet; moisture can loosen the mirrors and dull the metallic work
Wipe the mirrors with a dry microfibre cloth to bring back their sparkle
Avoid knocking the toe against steps or hard surfaces, which can chip the mirrors
Store each shoe in its own soft pouch so the mirrors do not scratch each other
Keep perfume and hairspray away from the metallic work to prevent tarnish
