GULBADAN - Embroidered Jutti

GULBADAN is a deep brown Punjabi jutti scattered with hand-beaded flowers in pastel blue, soft yellow and vibrant pink, lifted with fine golden detailing.

Bead flowers sit in clusters across the toe, each ringed with tiny seed beads and joined by silver-gold zari leaf sprigs. Rhinestone chains outline the panels, and rows of pastel beads and sequins run along both sides. The dark ground makes every colour read clearly. A soft tan leather lining and hand-stitched leather sole complete the pair.

Made for mehendi, haldi and daytime festive functions where colourful footwear lifts a light outfit. The brown base keeps the brights grounded, so it also works with everyday ethnic wear.

Pairs well with: Ivory and pastel lehengas, multicolour anarkalis, yellow haldi outfits, and brown or beige kurta sets.

Care

Wear-in tip: New juttis fit snug - wear them at home for an hour or two so the leather softens to your foot
Do not wash or wet; water can stain the fabric base and loosen the beadwork
Remove dust with a soft, dry brush or cloth using light strokes
Keep perfume, hairspray and lotions away from the beads - they dull the shine
Store in a breathable cotton pouch, away from dark fabrics that can transfer colour
Keep a silica sachet in the box during monsoon to protect the metallic work
