Bridal Juttis
Bridal juttis made for the ceremony itself - the pheras, the baraat, the reception - in ivory, gold, red and blush, with the kind of handwork that reads clearly in photographs and under mandap lighting. Every pair here is hand-embroidered in our Delhi workshop.
The embellishment is what separates a bridal pair from a festive one. You will find pearl-scalloped toe panels, antique gold zardozi flowers with crystal centres, dabka leaf work, kundan stones and dense moti beadwork - built up by hand over several days per pair. Ivory and champagne pairs sit quietly against a bridal lehenga instead of competing with it; red and ruby pairs carry the traditional red-and-gold palette for the ceremony.
Brides choose flats for a practical reason: a wedding day runs long and a jutti can be worn from the morning ceremony through to the reception without the ache heels bring. Ours are priced between Rs 1,550 and Rs 1,850, so a bridal pair does not have to cost more than the outfit's accessories.
Every pair is made in our own workshop and finished by hand: a soft leather lining, a hand-stitched flat leather sole and a cushioned footbed, with no left or right foot so the pair shapes to you over the first few wears. Sizes 35 to 41. Designed in-house by a family that has been making juttis for over eight years, with a store at Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi.
