KHAASIYAT - Mukaish Jutti
KHAASIYAT is a vibrant teal blue leather jutti with prominent circular motifs, dark floral centres and ornate gold borders. Its bold colour and symmetrical design make it a statement piece for festive dressing.
Each medallion is ringed with hand-set mukaish dots, the Lucknowi badla craft, with a scalloped gold border tracing the opening. A soft tan leather lining and hand-stitched leather sole finish the pair.
Blue is the under-used festive colour, and that is the point - this pair stands out in photographs beside the usual reds and golds while still working alongside them.
Pairs well with: Ivory and gold lehengas, mustard suits, blue or silver sarees, and white kurta sets.

Craft: Mukaish (badla) - metallic dots hammered into the leather by hand

  • Wear-in tip: New juttis fit snug - wear them at home for an hour or two so the leather softens to your foot
  • Do not wash or soak; wipe the leather with a soft, dry cloth
  • Keep the mukaish dry - moisture dulls the metallic dots
  • Press a lifted dot back gently with a fingertip; never pull it
  • Newly dyed leather can transfer colour onto light fabrics - wipe the upper before the first wear
  • Store in a cotton dust bag away from direct sunlight so the colour stays rich
  • Air them out between wears to keep the leather fresh
